Voici deux bouteilles du 19ème siècle (collection particulière belge) portant un sceau peu fréquent appartenant à une famille noble bretonne, les Breil de Pontbriand. Bizarrement, alors que ces sceaux sont assez rares – je n’en avais jamais vu en 13 ans de collection – une troisième bouteille apparaît sur eBay, chez un vendeur breton lui aussi !

An uncommon seal from Britanny
Here are two 19thC bottles (from a Belgian private collection) with an uncommon seal belonging to a noble family from Brittany, the Breil de Pontbriand. Curiously, while these seals are quite rare – I had never seen them in 13 years of collection – a third bottle appears on eBay right now, and the seller is from Britanny too!
